A New Era

Hi everybody! I just switched website domains and even gave myself a new name - Cranegirl Photography. I chose this name thanks to the many origami paper cranes I’ve folded out of everything and anything I can get my hands on…sticky notes, gum wrappers, even plastic water bottle labels. I love to leave them around for people to find. But there’s more to paper cranes than meets the eye. The very first thousand cranes come from a Japanese legend that if you fold one thousand, you will be granted a wish. I’ve never officially counted how many cranes I’ve made, but I know I’ve been folding them for as long as I've been taking photos, and my wish is that I can spend the rest of my life doing what I love.
